BROCHURES
Epclusa Brochure
Project Details
At the time, Epclusa was a brand new hepatitis C drug on the market that differentiated itself by its ability to treat multiple patient types. For their launch, they needed a brochure they could give to potential treaters. This brochure was a brief overview of the drug and the studies that proved its effectiveness.
My Role
The main challenge of this project was finding a way to condense all the drug information into an easily digestible format. My job was to find the important messaging, shorten it, and create the story flow. The result was an easily comprehensible brochure that told the essential information of Epclusa and sparked potential treaters’ interest.

LETTERS
Letter of explanation
Project Details
A hepatitis C liver progression chart was recently created for doctors to use in their offices. The chart needed a letter to accompany it to explain how the chart can be used in their office.
My Role
We wanted to make sure the doctor would actually use the chart. So, we used the strategy of our disease awareness campaign as an outline for the letter. I followed the outline when writing the letter by opening up with statistics about the dangers of hepatitis C and then going into the curability of the disease. Then, we explained exactly how to use the liver chart in their office as a tool to help patients understand the dangers of the disease and that the disease is curable.
POSTERS
Project Details
These motivational posters were used for our company’s 2015 and 2016 New Year kickoff events. The themes for both events were about motivating the workforce while tying it in with the cooking aspect of the event.
My Role
Motivation comes easy when you are inspired. I used that mindset when writing these posters. I also took inspiration from other great minds to help create these quotes.
LEAVE BEHINDS
Baby Boomer Leave Behind
Project Details
The majority of hepatitis C patients are baby boomers. Our disease awareness campaign needed a leave behind to help inform healthcare practitioners about this high-risk group. It also needed to motivate healthcare practitioners to screen baby boomers for hepatitis C.
My Role
For this project, I worked closely with a senior copywriter. I was in charge of finding the statistics to use in the piece and write the information in our brand’s tone. While finding the research, I grouped together related information to help form a good story flow for the brochure. Then, I worked with our senior copywriter to create the final version of the brochure.

HCV Statistics Leave Behind
Project Details
This leave behind was created to be an overview of new hepatitis C statistics from a wide range of publications. It expanded the information of an established campaign that educated healthcare practitioners about hepatitis C and its curability.
My Role
I was in charge of finding statistics we have not used in our disease awareness campaign. We wanted this brochure to be fresh and introduce new information we can use in future messaging for the campaign. I also worked with an art director to help create infographics for the brochure. With all the statistics, infographics really helped to relay the statistical information fast. I also worked with a senior copywriter to write the brochure and create the story flow.

Liver Progression Chart
Project Details
Hepatitis C is a disease that is not easily recognized. It takes years for symptoms to show. This chart was designed to help doctors explain what hepatitis C does to their patient’s liver.
My Role
For this project, I wrote and did the research. This was our first patient-facing piece so the tone had to change. Before this, our disease awareness campaign only spoke to doctors. I needed to take our messaging and simplify it for the new audience who are not familiar with a lot of medical terms.
Branded Liver Progression Chart
Project Details
This was a redesign of a liver chart we already designed, but we branded it to fit in with the Harvoni brand.
My Role
This was an interesting project because everything was already done. All I needed to do was write the same liver chart but in the voice of a new brand.
